Company Section - Activities Battalion Senior Joga Bonito
The Senior Joga Bonito was held on Monday 31 October 2011 in Holy Trinity Woodburn, home of 8th Carrick. Four teams took part, namely 1st Greenisland, 4th Carrick, 5th Carrick and 8th Carrick.
8th Carrick were represented by Kris Dines, Jamie Cameron, Stuart Carlisle, Will Aston and Jonathan Morgan.
The competition was played on a league basis with teams playing each other twice. The standard of play was very high with boys showing excellent individual skills and great teamwork.
A big thank you to Daniel Lafferty for giving up his time to referee all the games - not an easy task!
Well done to all those who took part and congratulations to 5th Carrick who picked up the winning trophy for the second year in a row.
